My New Home @ SPK Sunway Damansara

Signed, sealed and delivered by Hakenden Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Since I shifted about 4 to 5 months ago, I had no time to come online to blog about my new home due to tmnut screamyx (until now, they have the nerve to say no port).

My new home in Sunway SPK Damansara is just less than 5 minutes drive from where my previous house was. It is a gated and guarded community and most if not all of the people who live here are rich(except me :P). My house is pretty close to the guard house, which in time will be shifted a little more to the entrance(wuwu, no more added protection T_T).

Okay, now to describe my house in more detail. By default, the house have 6 rooms (2 at the first floor, 3 at the second and the grand master bedroom at the top, lol), but my parents decided to clear off the smaller room at the first floor (that room could only fit 1 bed, 1 cupboard ... that's it). I mean, even a maid could not live in that room, it is too freakin' small.

The guest room at the first floor is not really furnished and not air-conditioned, it has been booked by my mum as the ironing room where clothes are ironed. It also has a piano which my sis used to play back when she had the interest, which I sometimes do play it for the fun of it XD

The kitchen design of the home is practically the modern day's kitchen - There is the wet kitchen and the dry kitchen. The wet kitchen is also conjoined with the laundry room (without a door ...) which my mum does the laundry there (We just got a brand new washing machine, yay!)

The living room at the first floor is, in a word, HUGE!

Okay, so it may not be as big as what most people would have thought from my flabbergast expression but I have been living in a house which had a smaller living room than this, you can't really blame me now, can you?

Okay okay, let us continue the tour and walk upstairs. What do we see next? My second living room of course!

This is where I lounge around, chill to my console (a PS1, I know ... it sucks ...) or just plain watching the TV.

Now, to your right, the first one is another guest room, which has not been furnished (right up until now). The room has an air-cond, a standing fan which my dad brought from my old house, a collection of DVDs my dad collects in a box and a cupboard where all the tapes my dad used to use to record shows from TV (yes kids, tapes do exist). Pretty much a very empty room.

Then, coming back out, we shall take a tour of none other than, my room :)

My very very messy bed :)

My PC is finally in my room, yay~

My room has a conjoined toilet, which of course I use it more often than ever (compared to the first floor's, which I think I have yet to use it).

When going back to the second living room, across of my room of course is the room where my parents like to call it, their R&R stop for the day. It is considered the master bed room for the house - has one toilet and the size of the room is equivalent to both the guest room on this floor as well as mine combined.

Another flight of steps leads up to the grand master bed room(well, what do we call it then?). This is where my sister sleeps when she returns from Singapore. Of course, to me, a big space is second when it comes to what I look for as a place where I will be spending more than 50% of my life at - making sure the place is properly protected from natural and supernatural elements.

That concludes a quick tour in my house, thank you for visiting and please, come again XD

  1. Denster Said,

What a beauty your house is! Especially your room, the wooden sliding panels for the wardrobe looks nice :)

Which living room do you use more btw, the first or second? I think the second looks more cozy, but the first is better for... guests and "official events" (you know, when CNY comes along, and ahem, when your girlfriends parents do *wink*)

    Heh.

I'd like to visit soon! :D (when I do get back tho)
